Two days after announcing the availability of the second Beta build for the upcoming iOS 9.2.1 mobile operating system for supported iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, today, January 6, 2016, Apple has started seeding Mac OS X 10.11.3 Beta 2 to developers worldwide.

At the moment of writing this article, there are no details about the changes implemented in the second Beta release of the forthcoming OS X 10.11.3 operating system for supported Macs, but we're pretty sure that Apple has fixed more of those annoying issues and most certainly it has patched security flaws.

Mac OS X 10.11.3 Beta 2 was tagged by Apple as build 15D13b, and it is now available for download for developers enrolled in the Apple Developer program. You can download it from the SDKs section, under OSX, where you need to register your Mac and get a redeem code to install it via the Mac App Store.

Mac OS X 10.11.3 coming soon to a Mac near you

When it debuts, Mac OS X 10.11.3 will become the third maintenance release of the Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and promises to improve the security, stability and compatibility of your Mac, as well as to add some small features here and there, along with under-the-hood improvements.

The final release of Mac OS X 10.11.3 is to be expected this spring, but those of you who are registered developers can get the Beta builds right now and see what's new. However, we feel obliged to let you know that this is a pre-release version, so you shouldn't install it on your production Mac.

We'll update the article later today or in the coming days if Apple publishes more details about the Mac OS X 10.11.3 Beta 2 update. Existing Beta users can update right now by firing up the Mac App Store app.
