After less than a week since it seeded the iOS 9.1 Beta 3 pre-release, Apple has released the fourth beta of the 9.1 beta version, tagged with the 13B136 build, for both developers and general public beta testers enrolled in the Beta Software Program.

According to the iOS 9.1 Beta 4 release notes, this pre-release comes with a known iCloud Keychain issue where users might receive a "Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain" error while setting up iCloud Keychain on their iOS device.

Fortunately, Apple also provides a workaround designed to solve this problem in the form of a device reboot which should allow one to set up iCloud Keychain with no further problems.

Together with the fourth beta of iOS 9.1, Apple also seeded the third pre-release of tvOS with Siri, Game Center, Media Playback and Universal Search bug fixes.

Moreover, tvOS 9.1 Beta 3 fixes a Universal Search bug where rented movies will not be displayed in the results list, and a few Siri issues where Apple's digital assistant would not work if Canada is set as the Region, and would become unresponsive after the user asks "what did he/she say" and quickly request some other information right after.

The new Xcode Beta expected to fix TestFlight validation and upload problems

Apple has also released the Xcode 7.1 Beta 3 pre-release version that is expected to fix an issue that has been plaguing developers that would have problems validating or uploading apps using TestFlight on OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

Even though Apple says that you won't be able to downgrade your device once you install a 9.1 Beta on your iOS device, we have created a tutorial designed to help you downgrade any iOS device from an iOS Beta to a stable iOS release.

The iOS 9.1 Beta 4 release can be installed on the following iOS devices: iPhone 4s or later, iPod touch (5th gen), and iPad 2 or later.

Furthermore, if your iOS device already runs iOS 9.1 Beta 3, you can quickly update it to the fourth beta of iOS 9.1 over the air by going to Settings > General > Software Update and tapping on the "Download and Install" button.
