Spice has many Android smartphones available in India, so the launch of a new one shouldn't come as a surprise. The new handset is called XLife 511 Pro and has nothing “pro” inside.

Still, since the smartphone is being released in India, the price tag is all that matters for an entry-level device. The good news is XLife 511 Pro also comes with some freebies included in the sales package to make it more appealing to customers.

According to a new report, Spice XLife 511 Pro is now available for purchase in India for just Rs 4,989 outright, which is about $75 / €65.

Customers will be able to pick from three color options, namely Dark Blue, Black with Gold, and Blue with Silver. Last but not least, XLife 511 Pro's box comes with a free flip cover and a selfie stick.

Moving on to specs, XLife 511 Pro ships with an older version of Android, though some might think that this is a good thing since the Lollipop still has so many issues.

The smartphone is powered by a 1,750mAh battery

So, XLife 511 Pro ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, and it's highly unlikely that the handset will receive an upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

On the inside, the device is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a Mali 400 graphics processing unit, and 1GB of RAM. Although it comes with only 8GB of internal memory, users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

There's also an 8-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, while on the front, there's a secondary 3.2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Spice XLife 511 Pro sports a modest 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. Also, the smartphone offers both 3G HSPA+ and dual-SIM support, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS and microUSB 2.0.
