Adele hasn’t put out new music in 5 years, but because of the staying power of her second album, “21,” it hardly feels like she’s gone anywhere. Even so, she has been absent from the music scene, spending the last 5 years starting a family with her new husband, but also working on new material.

The world will finally get to hear it on November 20, HitsDailyDouble reports, confirming an older report that said the same.

Apparently, fans should expect the leading single to drop in the first or second week of November, with Adele scheduled to promote the new release with a string of appearances.

“The British superstar has inked a lockout deal with NBC for four big TV looks, including The Today Show, SNL, a prime-time special and one more appearance TBA (possibly Fallon),” the report says. “The exclusive deal will not, however, prevent Adele from appearing on the 2016 Grammys.”

This will be Adele’s third and last album under her deal with XL / Columbia, and she’s already taken steps to secure a new one. The report notes that she has a new worldwide deal with Sony, estimated at the whopping amount of $50 million (€44.4 million).

Then again, Adele is one of most successful international musicians of recent times, even though she’s only released 2 albums so far. She can dictate her own terms with industry players now.
