There are rumors that Chinese company OnePlus will launch another Android smartphone by the end of the year. Obviously, it won't be another flagship device, but a mid-range one that should bring some interesting features for an affordable price.

Many call this phone OnePlus X or OnePlus Mini, but the handset maker has yet to decide on the market name of its upcoming mid-ranger.

The first details about the phone's specs leaked a few weeks ago when the OnePlus Mini's benchmark results surfaced directly from China.

But there are a lot more things about OnePlus' next smartphone that we still don't know. Luckily, XiaomiToday has additional info, which could add to the puzzle.

For example, it appears that OnePlus Mini will pack USB Type-C port and it will feature wireless charging technology. While we do know that the smartphone will pack a 13-megapixel camera, we have also learned that it features a Sony IMX258 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

No dual-camera setup for the Mini

The rear-facing camera can record 4K videos at 30fps and features dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing 5-megapixel camera allows users to record full HD (1080p) videos and take great selfies.

There's also a fingerprint scanner on the back and NFC (Near Field Communication) with support for Android Pay, as well as IR Blaster on top. The 5-inch full HD (1080p) display features 2.5 Gorilla Glass coating (oleophobic and hydrophobic).

OnePlus Mini is likely to be powered by a non-removable 3,000-3,100 mAh battery, but the back side of the phone will be removable.

In fact, OnePlus will launch a wide range of plastic back covers of different styles and colors that will be sold separately.

Speaking of which, OnePlus Mini should be priced at around $250 (€223) outright and will launched on the market sometime in November / December.
