OnePlus is expected to unveil its next “flagship killer” smartphone, the OnePlus 2 later today.

Those interested in getting one will be pleased to know that the first high resolution pictures of the OnePlus 2 have just leaked online.

We reported to you yesterday that the design differences between the new OnePlus 2 and its predecessor are minimum.

One thing that is obvious at first glance is the presence of the physical Home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner, which is not available in the original OnePlus One smartphone.

Apart from that, there aren't any other major differences between the two OnePlus smartphones. The good news is when it comes to specs, the OnePlus 2 is a real beast and will certainly outperform the original model in all tests.

One other thing that you might want to know is the fact that the pictures have been provided by an XDA forum user who is also a tester and had the OnePlus 2 for about a week.

According to him, the OnePlus 2's design is ugly, but features a solid build. He also says that he prefers the OnePlus One when it comes to looks and that the fingerprint sensor is not that sensitive as the Chinese company promised earlier this month.

He has also confirmed that the camera on the back of the OnePlus 2 features OIS (optical image stabilization), but it doesn't come with a Sony sensor inside.

In addition, the rear-facing camera is a bit thicker than the OnePlus One's camera, but the difference is almost unnoticeable, so we're not worried about that.

The pictures also show that the OnePlus 2 will offer dual-SIM support, but users will have to drop microSD card slot in order to fit in an additional SIM card.
