14 DAY TRIAL // Several hours before the Google's launch event, the full specs of the Nexus 5X have been leaked online. Some of the features under its hood were already rumored, but these documents confirm most of them.
According to AndroidPolice, Google's Nexus 5X won't pack 3GB of RAM, as some sources previously claimed. Instead, the high-end smartphone will come with only 2GB of RAM, which is not necessarily that bad.
Still, tech-savvies will probably be disappointed by this turn of events, especially that the rest of the phone's specs are more than decent for the price you will have to pay.
Speaking of which, rumor has it that Nexus 5X prices will start at $380 outright. Also, the smartphone will only be available for purchase online via Google Play Store.
No mention of microSD card or wireless charging
Anyway, here are the rest of the handset's specs, as confirmed by an official document leaked recently. First of all, Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-bit 2GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit.
The Nexus 5X comes with either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory, which is very important since it doesn't pack microSD card slot for memory expansion.
There's also a 12.3-megapixel camera on the back, which features IR laser-assisted autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there's secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.
A fingerprint sensor is positioned right below the main camera. Nexus 5X also packs USB Type-C port and single nano SIM slot.
