MSN apps received a bunch of updates this morning

The Windows as a Service approach that Microsoft embraced for Windows 10 seems to be working like a charm, as the company rolls out updates for the new operating system a lot more often than before.

And today, we’ve received a bunch of new Windows 10 app updates, only a few hours after the Windows Store notified us that some apps got improvements too.

This time, Microsoft has released some goodies for its MSN suite of apps, including MSN News, MSN Money, MSN Weather, and MSN Sports, so if you're using any of them, this is the right moment to update.

Just as usual, the updates are available in the Windows Store, and in case you haven't changed the default configuration in Windows 10, the new versions of the apps might already be there, as the store is set to automatically download and install updates.

No change logs

As it happened before, Microsoft has rolled out these updates without actually providing users with a change log, so even if new versions of our favorite apps are released at a faster pace, it's still a little bit frustrating for everyone not to get any information on what's been fixed.

When talking about Windows 10 updates, Redmond said that only the most significant patches would get a change log, but the company seems to adopt the very same strategy for app updates as well.

In other words, the only things we should expect from these new versions are bug fixes and performance improvements, but this doesn't necessarily mean that you should delay the install. All these new versions most likely include optimizations that could speed them up, so make sure you deploy them as soon as possible, especially if you're using one or several of them regularly.

And of course, expect more updates to ship in the coming days, so we'll keep you posted as soon as new versions show up.
