14 DAY TRIAL // The Vivaldi team, through Ruarí Ødegaard, announced on February 2 the release and immediate availability for download and testing of a new snapshot build of the upcoming proprietary and cross-platform web browser.
In Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.385.5, the development team managed to implement various new settings that change the behavior of tab opening and closing, making the respective functionalities similar to those from some of the most popular web browsers on the market. At the end of the article, we've attached the entire changelog.
"From today's build when you open new tabs from a link in your current tab, they share a relationship. For example, say you perform a search in your current tab and Ctrl+Click the first search result, it will then open next to its 'parent.' If you Ctrl+Click a second result, the new tab will place itself immediately after its 'sibling,'" said Ruarí Ødegaard, Linux QA and Testing at Vivaldi.

We told you before and we will tell you again now, the Vivaldi 1.0 web browser, the first stable release of the project, will see the light of day in the coming months. Vivaldi 1.0 will be based on the open-source Chromium web browser and designed to offer users a more pleasant Internet surfing experience.
