The Mozilla Firefox 43.0 web browser is scheduled for an official release on December 15, 2015, but Mozilla has just started seeding the binaries for all supported operating systems, including GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows.

Mozilla Firefox 43.0 is not an impressive release, except for GNU/Linux users, for which it brings the long-anticipated integration of the GTK+ 3 GUI toolkit after it has been delayed a release. For all supported OSes, the 43rd release of the Mozilla Firefox web browser improves API (Application Programming Interface) support for M4V video playback.

WebRTC streaming is now supported on multi-monitor configurations, there's a new option that lets users choose if they want to receive Awesome Bar search suggestions or not, and the Tracking Protection functionality of the Private Browsing feature has been improved by implementing user-selectable second block list.

Furthermore, the Big5 support has been greatly improved for Hong Kong supplementary characters on the Microsoft Windows XP operating system, the OSD (on-screen display) keyboard can now be displayed on highlighted input field on devices powered by the Microsoft Windows 8 or later operating systems.

Web developers get awesome new features

For web developers, Mozilla Firefox 43.0 brings some awesome new features, such as the "Use in Console" context menu item for the Inspector, which lets devs store selected elements in a temporary variable, support for filtering styles in the rules view, a sidebar-based UI for the WebIDE, and the ability to display server-side logs in the console.

Of course, there are many other interesting things in Mozilla Firefox 43.0, so we've attached the entire changelog at the end of the article for your reading pleasure. In the meantime, you can download Mozilla Firefox 43.0 for GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X operating systems right now from our website.
