It's now focusing on the things you want to find and do

Microsoft has just announced it has released a new version of Bing for iPhone devices. The application has been completely revamped to offer faster search results and easier control.

According to developers, the new version of Bing is meant to bring together all the information the user needs, connected to the apps they trust, in order to help them “find” and “do” faster and easier than any of the previous versions of the application.

“Mobile search is different from search on a PC. With mobile, we want instant answers and the ability to take immediate action. We want to book it, buy it, watch it now. We want to touch more and type less. We want to search once in a single app.

“The new Bing app for iPhone helps you search and take action from one place so you can focus on the things that you want to find and do, rather than where and how to accomplish them,” explains Microsoft in a blog post.

With the new version of Bing for iPhone, users will be able to find their favorite movie or song more quickly and conveniently. The application uses deep links from across all user's apps to provide search results.

Bing can also help users find the perfect restaurant by narrowing down choices based on the things that are most important to them with the touch-optimized interface.

The new version of Bing was especially created by Microsoft to better reflect the way iPhone users, and all mobile users, interact and use apps, the Bing team claims.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Bing for iPhone for free via App Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running iOS 8.0 or newer.
