Microsoft is expected to unveil at least five new Windows 10 smartphones this fall, including two flagship smartphones. There's a high chance they will be announced along with Windows 10 Mobile's release, which doesn't have an exact release date yet.

While we already have lots of info on the alleged Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, we don't know anything about the other Windows 10 handsets that Microsoft plans to launch this year.

We know they belong to mid- and low-tier range, but their specs were mystery until recently. The good news is the folks over at WMPU have been given a few confidential documents that offer in-depth details on three upcoming Lumia smartphones.

The unannounced Lumia 550, Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 are said to be announced in September, along with Windows 10 Mobile's official release on the market.

The less-featured between the three, Microsoft Lumia 550 sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixel) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

The smartphone will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, an Adreno 304 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. Also, the Lumia 550 will pack 8GB of storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB.

On the back, there will be a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a 2-megapixel selfie camera.

All three Lumia phones will be announced in September

The Lumia 550 will be powered by a 1,905 mAh battery, but there's no mention of LTE support, so users will be limited to 3G HSPA data speeds.

Next in line, Microsoft Lumia 750 is a mid-range Windows 10 smartphones that sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. Just like the Lumia 550, it packs 8GB of storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

However, on the back, Lumia 750 comes with a superior 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, coupled with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone is powered by a 2,650 mAh battery and offers 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS, microUSB 2.0 and Wi-Fi support.

First Windows 10 Mobile OTA updates will hit Lumia phones in October

Last but not least, Microsoft Lumia 850 comes with a similar 5-inch HD (720p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It will be powered by the same 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

However, Lumia 850 will pack 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

It will pack a 10-megapixel PureView camera on the back, which features Carl Zeiss optic, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front.

All the other connectivity options mentioned earlier will be included in Lumia 850 as well, which will be powered by a 2,650 mAh battery.

In the same piece of news, rumor has it that Microsoft plans to launch Windows 10 Mobile sometime in September, while the first OTA updates are set to hit the first Lumia smartphones in October.

Update: WindowsCentral's Daniel Rubino claims that all three Lumia smartphones leaked earlier today have already been cancelled by Microsoft.
