It's been less than a week since Microsoft Garage released the InstaNote project in Windows Phone Store, and now another application makes its debut in the mobile world.

The new Tossup application launched by a Microsoft Garage team targets Android and iOS users, so you will find it in Google Play Store and App Store, respectively.

Tossup is an application that aims to make opinion-gathering much easier. As long as the whole group has the application you will be able to ask your friends whether they prefer a restaurant or another.

“Tossup removes the friction around planning. It’s really about connecting with people, removing barriers that cause plans to fall through.

Our aim is for you to spend more time hanging out with friends rather than coordinating schedules,” said Jennifer Shen, the principal program manager lead whose team built the Tossup app.

There's no need for extra time to plan things in advance

The app removes the time needed for planning a meeting because you only need to ask your friends through Tossup where and when they want to meet, as well as where to go and they will simply cast the votes.

Furthermore, you will be able to invite friends over email or SMS to start using Tossup, so everytime you want to know their opinion you just need to ask them through Microsoft's new app.

“Tossup is just the beginning. The team is looking forward to evolving the app and releasing other apps designed to help people communicate in new ways.

We love the challenge of having to earn every user, and you have to do that by making experiences they love to use,” concluded Ashok Kuppusamy, a group program manager.

You can now download Tossup for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.

For iOS users, Tossup is available for download via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
