Rumors about Microsoft's upcoming Lumia smartphones powered by Windows 10 Mobile continue to pour in and the more info we get, the bigger the confusion.

While multiple sources claim the Redmond-based company plans to launch at least five new Lumia smartphones this fall, there's a high chance that after Satya Nadella's new decisions for the future of Windows Phone, some of these devices might have been canceled.

This means that only two Windows Phone handsets will be launched by Microsoft in the second half of the year, the so-called Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

The naming of these two flagship smartphone hasn't been decided yet, but Microsoft is now taking into consideration launching them as Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, respectively.

Now, putting together all the previous rumors and corroborating it with information coming from multiple reliable sources, WindowsCentral published the full specs of these devices.

Since these are preliminary specs, please be advised that Microsoft might change some of them before they go official.

So, the Lumia 950, also known as Talkman, will be available in Matte White or Black and will feature a polycarbonate body.

Windows Hello might not work at launch, but will be enabled via update

The high-end smartphone will boast a 5.2-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen display that support Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It will come with iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello and will definitely pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

On the inside, Talkman will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The smartphone will also pack a 20-megapixel PureView camera in the back, which will feature triple-LED flash. In the front, there will be a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera.

Microsoft Talkman is said to feature Qi wireless charging with flip cover, USB Type-C port and a 3,000 mAh battery, which is removable.

Continuum support will be available through an additional accessory

Next in line, Lumia 950 XL, also known as Cityman, will be available in Matter White or Black and will be made of the same polycarbonate material.

It will sport a larger 5.7-inch OLED display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Just like the Talkman, it will pack iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello and microSD card slot (up to 128GB).

However, this one will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

On the back, Microsoft Cityman will boast an impressive 20-megapixel PureView camera with the same triple-LED flash. Sources also claim that it will feature 1mm silver ring inside the circumference of the black camera pod.

The phone's external buttons will be made of aluminum. In the front, the smartphone should pack a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera.

Microsoft Cityman will be powered by a slightly better 3,300 mAh removable battery and it will feature both Qi wireless charging (integrated) and USB Type-C port.
