Most of the changes included are related to tweaking

Microsoft is doing all sorts of optimizations and improvements to Windows 10 Mobile and most of its apps that may or may not be compatible with the new version of the operating system.

OneDrive recently received such an update that added a few new features and improvements, but today, Microsoft implemented some tweaks to Glance Screen application for Windows 10 Mobile, NPU reports.

However, don't expect any new features to be included in this update, as Microsoft added several new options that users will be able to take advantage of once they upgrade to the latest version.

According to the cited source, there's a new option to show or hide date. Also, Glance Screen users will now be able to show or hide notifications icons.

As mentioned earlier, no new features have been included in this build, but with the latest version of Glance Screen, users can show or hide detailed application status.

Restart is required after updating to newest version

The ability to show background image has also been implemented as part of the tweaks Microsoft's engineers added in the update.

Last but not least, apparently there's a new UI for Windows 10 Mobile, so if you have previously used Glance Screen application on this version of the OS, you will surely notice the visual changes.

Glance Screen is already available for many Lumia smartphones, as Microsoft is trying to make the application popular among all Windows Phone users.

Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 920, Lumia 830 and a few others are fully compatible with Glance Screen, so you can expect all these smartphones to receive Windows 10 Mobile upgrade in the coming weeks.

Speaking of which, Microsoft has yet to confirm the official release of Windows 10 Mobile. Although Windows 10 Mobile Preview build 10586 has been silently confirmed as RTM, the Redmond-based company did not share any details on when it will begin the rollout of the update.
