Another software update might be released very soon

Even though it's unclear when the next version of Windows 10 Mobile will hit Insiders, at least we know Microsoft is working hard on various builds that might or might not be released to Lumia users.

We reported to you last week that the next Windows 10 Mobile released by Microsoft should be build 10586.104, and that it would probably be available in the next couple of months.

However, the Redmond-based company launched another Windows 10 version for the PC but completely ignored smartphone users once again.

Today, we have learned that Microsoft is testing a new Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107, which is newer than the one expected to arrive this week.

Despite the fact that it's a more recent build, it will not come with any new features, but a bunch of bug fixes meant to address all the issues that have been left unchecked in previous updates.

Don't expect any new features in compilation builds 10586

According to MSMobile, Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107 is already being testing by Microsoft in the company's internal rings, so depending on how well this build will perform, we might or might not see this one being released to Windows Insiders.

There is no information whatsoever about the changes included in this update, but one thing that's sure is the lack of new features. All Windows 10 Mobile 10586 versions will only include bug fixes and stability improvements.

Microsoft is expected to release another Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, the Lumia 650 on February 15. It won't come as a surprise if the company releases another preview build to Windows Insiders around that date.

Although Microsoft promised that more Windows 10 Mobile builds would be released in the future, the company hasn't yet been able to deliver on that pledge.

And since there are quite a few issues that need to be addressed, it's understandable that some Windows Phone fans lost patience for these fixes to arrive. Here is to hoping the next build will come sooner rather than later.
