Make Firefox look like Microsoft Edge on steroids

If you like how Microsoft Edge looks but don't particularly love how it tends to crash, there's now a theme that can make your Firefox browser look like Edge but keep Firefox's stability and customization options.

Internet users have their own preferences and opinions on what a browser should look and work like.

Some like the simplicity that browsers like Edge or Vivaldi provide, some like the stability and customization options in Firefox and Chrome, some like the cutting-edge and experimental features of Opera, and some like to travel back in time and use IE. It's their personal choice, so we will respect it and not say anything about it.

If you want to mix Edge's simple looks with Firefox's stability, J. Wellkins has created a custom theme that makes the good ol' Firefox look like Microsoft's fancy new toy.

How to install Mozilla Edge

The theme is called Mozilla Edge and is available for download on DeviantArt. Here's how to install it:

Step 1: Install the Stylish Firefox add-on. You'll need it because the theme is actually a Stylish script.

Step 2: Install the Buttons Back Firefox add-on. You'll need this plugin to move the "Back" and "Forward" buttons to the start of your URL bar.

Step 3: Download the Mozilla Edge theme.

Step 4: Unzip the archive. It's a RAR file, so you'll need something like WinRAR or 7Zip to decompress it.

Step 5: Open the decompressed files, enter the "Main Theme" folder, and then open the "Mozilla Edge" text file.

Step 6: Copy the text from the "Mozilla Edge" text file.

Step 7: Go to Firefox -> Tools - Add-ons -> User Styles -> Write New Style

Step 8: Paste the text from the "Mozilla Edge" file here, give the file a name, and save it. Changes should appear right away.

If everything went well, you should see your browser look something like the screenshot below. Only Edge's dark theme is supported at the moment.
