The Manjaro Linux community was proud to announce on April 3, 2016, the release and immediate availability for download of the Manjaro Linux JWM 16.04 Community Edition operating system.

Powered by Linux kernel 4.4 LTS and based on the stable branch of the Manjaro Linux project, Manjaro Linux JWM 16.04 Community Edition includes the latest JWM (Joe’s Window Manager) lightweight stacking window manager for the X Window System, the LXDM login manager from LXDE, as well as the JWMConf configuration tool.

As you can see from the screenshot attached on the right, the distribution comes preloaded with the JWM GrayOrange theme, the Ultra Flat Orange icon theme, the StylishDark GTK theme, and the LXDM GrayOrange Lubridion theme by default, which makes the OS look gorgeous and modern.

"Our well-known tools are included in a mix of fresh artwork from our community. This release comes with our advanced graphical installer Calamares and Thus as well as our text-based CLI-installer. Stable branch was used to create the install media," said Holmes, maintainer of the Manjaro JWM Community Edition.
