The Manjaro project is evolving under our eyes with each new release, becoming one of the best, free, open source, powerful, and most user-friendly Arch Linux-based computer operating system on the market.

Now that the Manjaro Linux 15.09 (Bellatrix) is finally stable, with the Manjaro Linux Xfce, KDE, Net Install, i3, GNOME, LXDE, LXQt, and Cinnamon editions out the door, the time has come for the Manjaro developers to implement better artwork for the GNU/Linux distribution, making it look more professional and appealing to new users.

"Manjaro will get some great innovations soon and maybe also a new logo. We are asking our great community to help us choose a new design," says Philip Müller on behalf of the Manjaro Community Team. "If you are a designer or you have some graphical skills, please feel free to propose a logo draft. Help us and send us great logos, ideas and choose your favorite designs."

Submit your work until October 14, 2015

The Manjaro community is urged to contribute with awesome logos or ideas about what the next Manjaro Linux logo will look like, as well as to choose their favorite designs from the multitude of submissions. Unfortunately, the deadline for submissions is next week, on October 14, 2015 at 6 p.m. CEST (Central European Summer Time) or 4 p.m. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

At the moment, as you can see from the image attached on the right, there are a few logo designs available for users to vote, but if you have better ideas, don't hesitate to contact the Manjaro Linux developers at support @ manjaro . org and submit your work. When designing the logo, please try to keep in mind that the Manjaro name is inspired from Mount Kilimanjaro. More details can be found on the original forum post.
