The developers of Manjaro 15.09 (Bellatrix) have issued yet another update for the operating system, and they say that it's one of the biggest ones made available so far. One look at the changelog makes it clear why that is the case.

Manjaro 15.09 (Bellatrix) was released at the end of September, so you might think that not a long enough time has passed since then to get one of these updates, but this is, in fact, the third one in the series. It's not something unusual for Manjaro, but I have to say that the rhythm of the upgrades seems to have picked up in the past few months. This kind of major upgrades used to arrive at greater intervals, but now we have three packs in just a few weeks.

Manjaro is a distribution based on Arch Linux, but unlike the base it comes in a variety of flavors. Almost all of the desktop environments are covered and that includes some that only integrate window managers like JWM. It doesn't follow a typical release schedule, but it's always updated and ready for deployment.
