Video game developer EA Sports is announcing that Eric Berry, the safety playing for Kansas City Chiefs, has managed to win the most recent edition of Madden Bowl, defeating Jordan Reed, the tight end of the Washington Redskins in a very close competition.

The player-focused Madden Challenge, which is played using the most recent installment in the long-running American football sim, was won by Zack aka "Serious Moe" Lane, who managed to perform better than Michael "Skimbo."

EA Sports also announces that "Madden Bowl may be over, but for the remainder of Super Bowl weekend fans needing a ride in the San Francisco Bay area can hop in an uberPOOL for the chance to play an EA Sports game with a professional football player."

The video-game-powered competition is a chance for players to engage with real world players from their favorite teams and to see how well they can play their sport simulation and the unique strategies they use.

According to the engine of Madden NFL 16, the Carolina Panthers will be the winner of the actual Super Bowl 50, defeating the Denver Broncos by 24 points to 20 in a very competitive match that had plenty of moments to satisfy fans.

The simulation also shows that Cam Newton will be the winner of the Most Valuable Player award because of a performance that includes a solid completion rate for his passes, and 216 yards won for his team.

EA Sports has a good track record when it comes to Super Bowl result predictions, and plenty of gamers can also create their own site-based simulations to see how different real world conditions will influence the outcome of the coming match.

Madden NFL 16 is now live in the EA Vault

Gamers who want to try out their hand at winning a virtual version of Super Bowl 50 with their favorite team can pick up the video game on the Xbox One if they pay for the EA Access service.

The company is giving its most dedicated fans access to some video games for free, including massive releases like Madden NFL 16 and Dragon Age: Inquisition and there are also price cuts and free access to ten hours of play for coming major releases.

The American football simulation was a solid performer for EA Sports, and the company is delivering updates and constant content drops for the Ultimate Team mode to keep it as interesting to fans as possible.

Once Super Bowl 50 ends the real world season, the studio tends to introduce even more competitions and special community events, delivering a wide range of new cards as well as tweaks that will mainly target the Draft mode.

A new mode in the series is already being created by EA Sports, and an official announcement about new features will probably be revealed right before or during E3 2016.

Traditionally, Madden NFL titles launch in either late August or early September and this year the experience will probably only be offered on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
