ZTE recently launched a few Nubia series smartphones, considered the company's high-end family. Although they are not yet available globally, ZTE plans to release them in more countries in the coming months.

The Nubia Z9 and Nubia Z9 Mini have been introduced in a few countries, including China and India. However, the Chinese company is expected to launch a third high-end smartphone in the same family.

The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max hasn't been announced yet due to manufacturing complexity, but as soon as the Chinese handset maker solves these problems, the smartphone might be revealed.

Speaking of which, a new set of pictures showing an unannounced ZTE smartphone has just been leaked directly from China. Since we don't have any information regarding ZTE's next flagship smartphone, we assume that this is the unreleased Nubia Z9 Max.

Could this be the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max?

We could be mistaken of course, but we're here to discuss these pictures rather than guessing the name of the device.

Well, first of all, the ZTE flagship smartphone in these photos looks a lot like the iPhone 6. The handset features the same design layout on the back with three sections just like the iPhone 6.

Also, the main camera has been placed on the upper left corner of the smartphone and features dual-LED flash, possibly autofocus as well.

This isn't that surprising since many Chinese company have borrowed various design elements from Apple's iPhone, so why not ZTE.

The ZTE smartphone will come with 2.5D curved glass panels on both sides, front and back. In addition, the handset features an almost bezel-less display, which makes it quite the looker.

We don't know anything about the phone's specs sheet, but we suspect more details on the ZTE flagship smartphone will emerge in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
