Since giving is the gift that won't stop giving

Some may say that the lifeblood of the 3D printing industry is the occasional launch of a new 3D printer, but that's not really true. The constant stream of freely available 3D models does more for this segment than the machines themselves.

However, while websites like Thingiverse and MakerBot's online repository are all well and good, they might not have all you might look for.

Also, they might not benefit from the sort of traffic you'd like to see when you decide to share a new model yourself. Especially if it's a professional opinion or collaboration you're hunting for.

That's why the new service launched by Sculpteo could become every aspiring 3D artists's dream, since it allows them to embed their models online.

Basically, it's a platform you can use to post your new files on the Internet, in one of 25 different formats, complete with 3D viewer. And it's all completely free of charge!

The Sculpteo Embed Viewer tool lets you select viewer size, background options, iframe code optimizations (for JavaScript or WebGL). You can even use WordPress, though you might need to follow a few steps before you can add the feed to your website.

All in a day's work for the San Francisco-based 3D marketplace I suppose.
