The team at Microsoft in charge of the Xbox One announces that it plans to deliver a number of rewards to all those who have bought the home console in one of the 13 initial markets on which it was delivered, in order to thank them for their long-term support and show what the future has to offer to the community.

The official community liaison Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, says that the company is very thankful and will first offer a personalized e-mail which will reveal what achievements gamers have managed to obtain and how they are using the device.

He also explains that, since the Xbox One was first launched, gamers have earned Gamerscore in excess of 11 billion, and 2 billion playing hours were recorded.

The four most popular Achievements are: Forza Motorsport 5: Welcome to Forza Motorsport, Titanfall: Build Yourself, Destiny: Ship Rite, and Call of Duty: Ghosts: Spatial Awareness.

All those who bought an Xbox One between November 22 of 2013 and November 11 of this year, are over 17, and have used it for more than 10 hours will also get a set of rewards.

They include:

- a year one themed gamer picture and a background, all of them designed to show the home console;

- a year one background image that can be used on social networks;

- the ability to watch the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn movie for a limited time and a similar offers for both the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie and a sample of Dragon Ball Z.

Randomness also plays a role in the Xbox One anniversary

Games can also get a reward drawn at random from a pool which includes:
