A few months ago we brought you word that Ed Zarick’s Xbox One laptop, which aims to help users take advance of some console fun while on the go. Well, sort of, since the notebook is quite big.

But if having an Xbox One squeezed in a laptop case isn’t enough for you, Ed returns with another offering that’s meant to satisfy even the most passionate Xbox fan.

Xbook Duo takes advantage of two consoles

Introducing the Xbook Duo, a device which takes both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 and puts them in a laptop body. So you should expect quite a behemoth.

The newcomer to the family is said to be “a bit” taller and heavier than the Xbox One laptop and how could it not, given that it packs two and not one gaming system.

As you can see from the images detailing the device, the Xbox 360’s hardware, buttons and disc tray are located on the side of the laptop, while the ones of the Xbox One are on the right.

Nevertheless, the notebook’s Xbox One’s power source can power up either console, but not at the same time.

Another cool aspect of the laptop is that it lets you toggle between the two consoles by virtue of a switch. Since the two items share a power source, one of them will have to be turned off for the other to operate.

The two consoles are plugged into an HDMI switcher that can sense which console is on, so it can relay the appropriate feed to the 22-inch 1080p Vizio LCD monitor.   The Xbook Duo laptop will not go to the mass market

Sadly, Ed’s atypical laptop has been created for his owner’s sole purpose and will not be sold to third-party customers. But you can still get to check it out in the videos and images below.

However, if you really want to own an Xbox laptop, you can pick up the Xbox One notebook which is sold for $1500 / €1157 a pop.

The rate is comparable to the prices of dedicated gaming notebooks currently on the market, but a 22-inch device like this is quite special indeed.

On top of that, Zarick is offering full instruction on how to build the laptops, so those of you on the tech-savvy side of things might be inspired and try to build a variation. Or even try and replicate the dual Xbox One/ Xbox 360 notebook.

Check out this gaming beast in the videos below.
