A fresh side-by-side video comparison between the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just appeared online, showcasing the pretty big differences between the two generations of the game.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is starting its release schedule this week and different editions of the game are already reaching the hands of loyal fans across different platforms.

One such fan managed to get the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 versions of Advanced Warfare and decided to make a side-by-side comparison video to showcase just how different the two editions of the game are in terms of visuals.

As you can see below, the biggest difference is in terms of the lighting, as the Xbox One version of the shooter manages to be much darker and more atmospheric, as opposed to the Xbox 360 edition.

Advanced Warfare's cut scenes look relatively the same on both platforms, but in terms of gameplay the two editions sport stark differences in terms of gun models, anti-aliasing methods, character models, and many other things.

Even so, the Xbox 360 edition of Advanced Warfare isn't that bad, which is a testament to High Moon Studios, the developer that handled the porting process of the new shooter onto the PS3 and Xbox 360, while Sledgehammer Games handled the actual creation and the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions.
