14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Fatshark is ready to reveal the first details about the heroes that gamers can choose in the upcoming Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, the Witch Hunters, who have some unique capabilities.
The title will introduce five classes for gamers, and the representative of the Witch Hunters is Victor Saltzpyre, trained from a young age by the Order of the Silver Hammer.
He will get access to a variety of weapons and feels equally at home using both ranged and melee tools to take out his enemies.
Victor is quick and that allows him to move around the battlefield with relative freedom in order to take out enemy hordes.
The official blog about the character states, "Unlike other Witch Hunters, Victor has no objections to working with other races. To him, the end justifies the means, and he is ultimately willing to fight alongside anyone as long as they are not outright enemies of Sigmar and the Empire."
Witch Hunters are gruff at the best of times, and Victor is so dedicated to the fight against Chaos and Evil for personal reasons that even his peers tend to feel he is unlikable and even dangerous.
The character will use leather armor to stay agile, and he can use a brace of pistols and a rapier when the game starts.
As Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide progresses, gamers can choose to use a greatsword, a repeater pistol, a crossbow or a one-handed axe.
Gamers can learn more about the Witch Hunter as the game progresses
Fatshark says that gamers will have a chance to gain extra details about the characters they control as they progress through the story.
The developers are also saying that Victor Saltzpyre is seen moving a prisoner, a powerful Bright Wizard, to Ubersreik.
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is set to introduce a cooperatively-focused experience that allows gamers to battle some of the toughest enemies of the Games Workshop fantasy universe.
The Skaven are launching a full invasion of Ubersreik and only determined action from the five heroes and solid tactics on the part of the player will win the city back from the rats.
