2K Games revealed more information regarding the upcoming WWE 2K15's MyCareer mode, which enables gamers to create their own custom wrestlers and take them to stardom.

The feature is the first "comprehensive, career-driven mode" in the series so far, and it will allow players to pilot their custom fighters from the training camp all the way to the Heavyweight Championship.

The previously featured Wrestlemania modes enabled players to experience an epic narrative, but lacked the replay value of the MyCareer mode. 2K's new gameplay feature will no doubt please wrestling fans all across the world, as it was one of the most requested additions in the upcoming title.

From the gutter to the stars

All newly created wrestlers will take off in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and will be trainer by head coach Bill DeMott. After proving their worth under his tutelage, aspiring wrestlers will move on to secure their place in the NXT by competing against similar rising stars.

The new game mode is very similar to the MyCareer mode featured in the NBA 2K series of basketball video games, taking players all the way from promising prospect to the top of the game, adding a lot of depth and drama to the basic gameplay experience, by having players have to struggle to find support and sponsorship deals, and forging epic rivalries with real-life wrestlers.

No shortage of drama

Gamers will have a defining hand in shaping the career of the upcoming champion, by forming alliances, rivalries, and by controlling social media interactions, influencing the custom wrestler's personality and interactions with the roaring crowds.

Those who manage to make it all the way to the WWE main roster and make their way up the ranks by winning matches will earn positions in legendary big-tickets events like Monday Night Raw, WrestleMania and SmackDown, completing tasks and ultimatums coming straight from Vickie Guerrero, the General Manager.

By performing well in matches, gamers will be able to gain new skills, improved abilities, new clothes and accessories to display, and better managers, available as they progress through the branching storyline that the MyCareer mode offers.

WWE 2K15 is scheduled to drop on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe, headed to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions of the wrestling video game have been pushed back, and are expected to come out on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.
