Specialists think that they've discovered why Russian President Vladimir Putin seems to be rushing with the invasion of Ukraine these days and why he's behaving like there is no tomorrow. It could be that, for him, there might actually not be a tomorrow.

Several publications from Belarus and Poland have picked up on a story that the Russian politician has been plagued by cancer and that it has begun to act up. This isn't exactly news, but the rumors have become stronger than ever these days because there are a few signs that the President has gone terminal.

Putin has been plagued by cancer, is close to dying, insiders claim

Page Six has also picked up the story and explains that Putin is suffering from an aggressive form of cancer that has affected his spinal cord, according to some sources, while others insist that it has affected his pancreas. Pancreatic cancer is known to be one of the most lethal forms of the disease.

The other news is that Putin's former doctor, an aging specialist from the old East Germany, has finally decided to quit his position, allegedly tired with the way he was being treated in Russia. Putin came into contact with the doctor decades ago, when he was serving in Dresden for the KGB.

The doctor is said to have been administering all sorts of experimental treatment on the Russian President, including regular steroid shots, which account for Putin's puffy looks in later public appearances.

84 years old and tired of being patronized by Putin's security staff, the doctor finally packed up and left for Germany, saying that he never liked coming to Russia.

Some of Putin's actions seem to indicate that he's clearing up his guilty conscience, preparing to die

One British reporter who is also an army veteran and frequently comments on intelligence and terrorism issues, by the name of Crispin Black, has confirmed that Putin's cancer scare is “back again with a vengeance,” suggesting that his health has deteriorated in the past months.

Another fact supporting the theory that Putin is dying is that he's recently pardoned his former accomplice Mikhail Khodorkovsky, pulling him out of prison after a 10-year stint. Journalists and experts think that this bodes ill for him, since it appears to be a sign that he's trying to make amends before he expires.

“Some have suggested [Putin] is clearing his conscience,” the same Crispin Black said. Other sources have gone even further with the speculation and claimed that Putin's days are numbered and that he wants to leave a legacy of having expanded Russia's borders as much as possible.
