Because there’s very little that The ‘Batch can’t do

Beyonce is one of the most powerful female entertainers of all times, a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress famed for her talent, her good looks, and her perfectionism. She is also very popular and very rich, and half of the highest earning couple in showbiz.

Beyonce has made famous many a move by simply including them in some of her dance routines. The strut, aka the sashay, is one of them.

The other day, on The Graham Norton Show on BBC America, Norton had actor Benedict Cumberbatch as guest. Also there was comedienne Miranda Hart who, at one point, as you can see in the video below, demonstrated some of her most famous walks, which she replicates on her comedy show after noticing them in real life.

Her favorite, she said, was the pop star’s stroll. She got up to illustrate it, first in slow-mo and then at regular speed, whilst Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” played in the background.

Hart did a decent Beyonce strut, but she couldn’t hold a candle to Benedict Cumberbatch, aka The ‘Batch, who got up from the sofa and joined her for an illustration of what said strut really looks like.

You might not think him capable of this if you look at him, what with the posh accent and his always-impeccable suits and his flawless styling whenever he’s out in public, but I guess this would be a good time as any other to admit to the obvious: there is very little, if anything at all, that Benedict can’t do.

Enjoy!
