It just so happens that, contrary to popular opinion, one does not necessarily need a frying pan to cook the stuff dreams are made of, a.k.a. bacon. No, Sir, an assault rifle will do. Check out the video below for instructions.

The footage, now viral, shows a competitive shooter named Dustin Ellermann using a good old M16 automatic assault rifle to cook some bacon and make it all nice and crispy.

The man starts by carefully and gently wrapping the bacon around the Gemtech TREK suppressor attached to his weapon. After successfully completing this first step, he fires his gun.

To make sure the assault rifle's suppressor is heated enough to cook the bacon, competitive shooter Dustin Ellerman fires about 90 rounds. When he finally removes the bacon, it's easy to see the burns on one of its sides.

Mind you, the man even goes as far as to eat the bacon, just to make sure he did a good job cooking it with his M16 assault rifle. “So much America right now. Let's go kill some more pigs,” he is heard saying.

As entertaining and pretty basic as it might seem, this is one trick you really shouldn't try your hand at. Not unless you want to risk injuring yourself or your loved ones.
