The smartphone has been rumored for quite a while now

Now that Mobile World Congress 2015 is almost over, many carriers are readying their new portfolios for release. Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 are two of the most important smartphones announced at the trade fair and they will make their debut in the United States in the coming weeks.

However, there might be some customers who aren't really interested in the latest flagships announced recently and instead they are looking for a high-end smartphone that will offer them the stock Android experience.

Nexus 6 is one such device, which was very popular among Android users, but very hard to get due to low stocks. Rumors claim Google was taken by surprise by the huge demand for its Nexus 6 smartphone, hence the hard-to-get situation.

The good news is Google has managed to find the resources to bring the Nexus 6 to an additional carrier, which did not seem to be interested in offering the smartphone initially.

In fact, there were some rumors late last year that Verizon might launch a slightly different version of Nexus 6 with a smaller 5.2-inch display, but that did not happen.

Verizon might have delayed the February 26 rumored launch

Following rumors claimed the Nexus 6 might be released at Verizon as early as February 26, but that did not happen probably because of the Mobile World Congress 2015.

But if Verizon delays the launch of the Nexus 6 for too much, then the device might have to compete with the latest flagships, Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9.

Anyway, the folks over at PhoneArena have just been handed a picture of some marketing material that, once again, confirms Verizon will launch the Nexus 6.

Unfortunately, no additional details on price or availability are shown in the document, so we're still in the dark when it comes to Verizon Nexus 6 launch.
