14 DAY TRIAL // In her interview with Dr. Phil, Mama June was adamant about one thing: she did not meet up with Mark McDaniel, the man convicted of molesting his daughter Anna when she was 9. Even after photographs of June and McDaniel made their way into the press, June claimed that she did not see McDaniel since he had come out of prison, saying that the photos were fake.
Now, one of her own family members, affectionately known as Uncle Poodle on the now-canceled reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, claims that Mama June has lied through her teeth and that she has, in fact, met up with McDaniel on numerous occasions, putting in jeopardy the safety of her young daughter Honey Boo Boo.

Uncle Poodle told Dr. Phil in an interview aired yesterday and quoted by Us Weekly that “The truth on the whole thing is June is lying. She tells everyone that [she and Mark] haven’t seen each other and that the photos are photoshopped. It’s a big lie.”
Poodle makes the shocking confession that he himself once drove Mama June to meet up with McDaniel, back when he didn't know who he was “[June] came to me to go look at houses. It was on September 9. I drove her up and she said she wanted to meet a friend. I took her to meet Mark. I did not know who Mark was in the beginning. I think it was the first time she had seen him since he got out of prison.”
It seems that June's story is beginning to wear pretty thin, since very few people are now siding with her. Even the producers of the reality show pulled the plug in a hurry when they caught wind of the scandal, soon after it was revealed on TMZ, by a photo showing June and McDaniel sharing a hotel bed.
After a lot of digging around, it was revealed that McDaniel had been incarcerated for molesting an unnamed young girl. Days later, with tears in her eyes, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell admitted to the press that she was the victim in that assault, and that her own mother did not believe when she told her that McDaniel repeatedly forced himself on her while her mother was out at work.

Poodle is so furious with June's inability to come clean about her illicit and dangerous romance, that he's willing to spill the beans on her. He claims that the first time June and McDaniel met up, her daughter Alana was there, “When we got there, we all got out. Pumpkin was with us with Alana. We were talking, having a good time. Well, Alana, Mark, and June disappeared for a few minutes.”
He goes on to reveal that June isn't fooling anyone with her denials and accused her that as late as last weekend she was with McDaniel “holding hands and kissing each other” in the back seat of her car.
