InFocus is well known in the United States and Asia region for its affordable smartphones and other electronics. The company has recently entered the Indian market with the M2 Android handset which will start selling very soon for only Rs 4,999 ($80 / €75) outright.

However, it looks like the US-based company is tempted to enter the smartwatch business as well. One of the less overcrowded markets, the smartwatch business has started to attract more and more companies.

Some of the smartphone giants like Samsung, Apple, LG, Motorola and Huawei have already launched their own smartwatches, and other companies plan to enter this market, so soon the competition will be fiercer than ever.

InFocus is one of the companies that will enter the smartwatch markets soon. Although unannounced, the InFocus i365-W1 has just been certified at Bluetooth SIG, which points to a possible release in the not-so-distant future.

No details on the device's specs have been mentioned in the listing, but it's certain that this is a smartwatch, which will probably be launched in one or more Asian countries first.

We'll be keeping an eye on InFocus' upcoming smartwatch, so make sure you stay tuned for more details on the matter.
