Massive Chalice, a tactical strategy game developed by the famous Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions, has finally arrived on Steam for Linux.

Double Fine Productions is a studio known for its great games like Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, and Broken Age. Pretty much everything they do becomes a success and there is no indication that it won't happen again with Massive Chalice.

"MASSIVE CHALICE is a tactical strategy game set on an epic timeline from Double Fine Productions. As the Immortal Ruler of the Nation, you'll take command of its heroes, forge marriages to strengthen your Bloodlines, and battle a mysterious enemy known as the Cadence in a war lasting hundreds of years," reads the Steam website.

The game has just entered the Early Access Game program, which means that it's still under development. Nonetheless, players can still buy and play it, although it won't be complete for a long time.

In addition, Double Fine Productions has published the system requirements for the game. Users will need an Ubuntu 13.04 LTS version, fully updated, an 1.8 GHz dual-core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a 256 MB GeForce 8800, Radeon HD 2000, or Intel HD 4000 Graphics video card, and 2 GB of available HDD space.

Massive Chalice features a 25% discount that is scheduled to expire on November 18.
