Whether or not you know about Precise Trading, a company from the United Arab Emirates, you are probably familiar with the 3Doodler 3D printing pen by now.

Precise Trading is a 2D & 3D Crystal Laser Engraving Service, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't know how to do anything else other than sub-surface laser etching of high-quality crystals.

As if to show this, it attended ShowStoppers at the GITEX 2014 event, where it put on display a magnificent model of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai. For those of you who don't know, that's the tallest building in the world.

The building itself is 829.8 meters tall, or 2,722 feet according to the American system.

The model in the attached photo was made exclusively with the 3Doodler 3D printing pen, meaning that yes, it was done by hand.

It took 170 hours to build it from 1,200 PLA plastic threads, 10 inches / 254 mm long each.

The only things that took a bit more work were the sheets which ended up wrapped around wooden shapes to create the cylindrical structures. They were doodled, heated and wrapped into place.

The 3Doodler pen is definitely amassing fame these days, despite the few other pens that have come out.
