The development team at CD Projekt ZRED is suggesting that it has long-term plans to introduce a special Photo Mode for their recently launched The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but it is not yet working on it.

The information comes from the Twitter feed of Marcin Momot, one of the developers who has worked on the open world experience, who says that he is taking a lot of screenshots from the title and that a special mode would make that easier.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt creates the kind of beautiful world that would benefit from custom camera angles and special effects.

It's unclear when a Photo Mode might be implemented and whether CD Projekt RED will prioritize it over other gameplay enhancements.

At the moment, the company claims that it is looking into a way to allow those who play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PC to use their DualShock 4 controller, but no estimated time of arrival for the feature has been mentioned.

The launch of the new title has largely gone off with no problems, but some gamers on the PlayStation 4 are complaining that the game does not get past the loading screen that appears after the first cutscene, which cannot be skipped.

Turning off the console or re-installing the game seems to solve the issue for some players, but others haven't been able to find a solution yet.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final title in the franchise

The most recent adventure that Geralt embarks on will also be his last and gamers will need to put aside more than 100 hours in order to find out what happens with the Wild Hunt and with Yennefer.

The Witcher 3 introduces an open world structure for the first time in the history of the series, giving gamers freedom to explore as they see fit and choose which missions they want to deal with.

Two expansions for the title have already been announced.

CD Projekt RED will probably spend a lot of time listening to community feedback and delivering patches for The Witcher 3.

The studio will probably then shift most of its resources to Cyberpunk 2077, which was revealed a few years ago but has not received too many details.
