Electronic Arts has just released a new update for its Sims series game available on Windows Phone platform. The Sims FreePlay, as the name suggests, is available for free but it contains in-app purchases.

According to developers, in the latest update players will be able to “create stylish new patios, balconies, and basements.” EA also confirmed that the new content would be available to players beginning at level 15 and up.

But these are not the only changes included in this update. The official changelog released by EA also states that players will be able to spruce up their in-game homes with wonderful patios as part of the DIY Homes: Peaceful Patio quest.

Additionally, players that finish the DIY Homes: Lovey-Dovey Balcony quest will be able to step out onto stylish balconies if they decide to build them.

Also, The Sims FreePlay players will be offered the possibility to build underground as part of the DIY Homes: Basement of Kings quest.

Make sure you disable in-app purchases if you don't want to spend real life money

Furthermore, the latest version of the game provides players with the options to explore the Home Store as it is overflowing with different items.

Apart from these new quests included in the update, developers also added lots of other features that will allow players to build their dream home, such as: hallways, smaller rooms, and much more.

You can now download The Sims FreePlay for Windows Phone 5.13.0.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.

Keep in mind that the game requires an Internet connection in order to play. It's also worth mentioning that The Sims FreePlay has been designed for Windows Phone 8 devices and is not connected to EA's Facebook game.
