Major retailer GAME has just announced a new partnership with Sony that will allow fans to play two of the highly-anticipated PlayStation 4 games for this year, The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne, earlier than their release dates.

During an exclusive series of lock-in events, gamers will be offered the chance to play those two games assuming they manage to get a ticket.

Beginning January 29 and until February 13, no less than 30 GAME stores across UK from Southampton to Edinburgh will open their doors to gamers wanting to get a feel of how these games play before release.

The official announcement states that tickets to these exclusive lock-in events will be available in stores beginning January and won’t cost anything. However, even if the tickets are free, you still must be over 18 to take part in these events.

In addition to the possibility of trying out The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne first hand, participants at these events will also be in with a chance of winning a copy of the games when they are released.

Refreshments and various prizes will be offered to attendees

Multiple prizes will be available for attendees, but more details on these are available at brick and mortar GAME locations.

There’s also a list of participating GAME stores, which those interested can consult before trying to obtain a ticket.

Speaking of which, GAME has announced that the tickets are limited and that those who attend these lock-in events will also have the luxury of receiving refreshments on the night for free.

In order to sign up for a lock-in event at GAME, you will need to contact the nearest participating store via Twitter or visit the store in person. You should also have your Reward Card number with you.

For your information, The Order: 1886 will be officially released on February 20, while Bloodborne is set for launch on March 25.
