14 DAY TRIAL // We’re still more than two months away from the release of The Order: 1886, Sony’s exclusive PlayStation 4, and that means it’s the perfect time to start watching some gameplay videos.
This isn't the first gameplay video from The Order: 1886 and certainly won't be the last. We owe the newest one to AGB, as we can now get another glimpse at how it feels to be a Knight of the Round Table in an alternate history filled with half-breed monsters.
There has been much talk on Sony’s mysterious project developed by Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica Studio, and most console gamers seem to agree that the story and premise of the game are among its strong points.
The Order: 1886 is probably one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 games in Q1 2015, so Sony better deliver on players’ expectations.
Judging from the almost 15-minute gameplay video that has just been leaked online, The Order: 1886 is a mix of QTEs and pure shooter mechanics.
The 14-minute video consists of separate gameplay sessions from different parts of the game, which are put together in order to get a feel on the title as a whole not just based on combat or story.
This means that during the video you will see awesome combat moments mixed with frantic dialogs that may reveals more or less of the main plot.

Everything appearing in The Order: 1886 looks and feels steampunk, which makes perfect sense considering the story is set in an alternate history London where industrial technology intertwines with magic.
There will be zeppelins and wireless communication, electricity weapons, as well as proximity mines and fragmentation grenades. Even with such an impressive arsenal at their disposal King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table would not prevail against the half breeds if not for the Black Water.
You can think at the Black Water like the Holy Graal. The mysterious liquid prolongs the knights’ lives, but also gives them impressive healing powers.
The technology / magic combination is the only solution for humanity to win the war against the half breeds. Without inventions like thermal imaging, walkie talkies and such, the Knights of the Round Table would be at a great disadvantage in battles.
As many of you probably know by now, The Order: 1886 will be released on February 20, 2015 only on PlayStation 4. Hopefully, there won’t be delays that would push the game’s launch further into the Spring.
