Nintendo has revealed the limited edition New 3DS XL console that is themed around The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a classic Nintendo 64 action-adventure game released back in 2000, that made the jump to Nintendo's Virtual Console in 2009.

The gameplay revolves around a repeating three-day cycle and the use of certain masks that enable protagonist Link to transform into different beings, and is considered a darker version than usual entries in the franchise.

Now the company has decided to release a special edition of its handheld video gaming device, to be made available across North America and Europe on February 13, with a price of $200 / €170, for anyone interested.

You can find both images of the New 3DS XL console and some concept art in the gallery below.

Additionally, the European edition of the console will come with the game pre-installed. Unfortunately, the North American edition won't benefit from the same treatment, but The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a New Nintendo 3DS launch title, which means that you'll be able to get it anyway.

The new edition makes use of some of the recent features added to the hardware, as it includes fully rotating camera on the C-Stick.

Furthermore, Nintendo of America has announced that North American gamers will be able to get their hands on a special edition of the title, that includes a collectible Skull Kid figurine.

The company revealed back in November that European players would get a similar deal, only with a steelbook case, a double-sided poster, and a special pin badge instead of the collectible figurine of the game's antagonist.
