The next major game from Ubisoft, The Division, has just received a set of brand new details that have apparently been leaked courtesy of alpha testers that are currently going through the multiplayer shooter, confirming that it has a huge map, aggressive AI opponents, and that it's quite possible it will launch in 2015.

The Division was revealed to the world back in 2013, when its impressive visuals and the promise of an open world massively multiplayer online shooter captured the hearts and minds of players from all over the world.

Since then, a few different gameplay videos and screenshots have been shared, not to mention more gameplay demonstrations at events like E3 2014 last summer. In recent months, unfortunately, not much has been heard of The Division, as both Ubisoft and developer Massive Entertainment have remained quiet about the whole project.

New details have just leaked about The Division's gameplay

However, things are apparently changing, as The Division has just received a few leaked details via a YouTuber who has talked with a couple of alpha testers that have already gotten their hands on the upcoming online shooter.

According to the report, the AI opponents are very smart and can use cover in an effective manner. Larger opponents will capture the attention of players through flashbangs and other such things, while their teammates will try to flank players.

Weapons can be customized in different ways and players will also be able to craft attachments and different types of gear, even clothes.

The game has a huge world and special Dark Zones

The report also claims that the current open world in The Division is close in size to the Los Santos city in Grand Theft Auto 5. However, there are plenty of places located off-world, so to say, such as Dark Zones that pose serious threats but also offer bigger rewards, in the form of contaminated gear. These items must be decontaminated before they can be used in the regular environments, but should have much better attributes.

The Division is set to debut in 2015, and according to the report, it's quite possible that it will reach that goal. Expect to hear something from Ubisoft about its upcoming game soon enough.
