14 DAY TRIAL // Tekken 7 creator Katsuhiro Harada has just revealed another new character for its upcoming game. Those who have been following Tekken 7 development will probably recognize the new character revealed by Harada.
Shaheen comes from Saudi Arabia and is a good-looking Muslim warrior. The concept art featuring the new character dates from August 2014, but the final design was only unveiled in the first day of 2015.
Many Tekken fans already see Shaheen as their favorite character, unlike the previous character revealed by Harada, Lucky Chloe who received a lot of negative feedback from players.
This is why Harada decided to make Lucky Chloe available only in a few regions, North America not being one of them.
Now, the situation is completely different with Shaheen who seems to be the preferred character for many Tekken players.

Some have even gone with the praises to claim the character strongly resembles poet, actor and photographer Omar Borkan Al Gala, who was reportedly removed from a festival in Riyadh back in April 2013 for looking too good.
He was in fact just one of three men who were removed from a festival on the grounds of being too handsome and the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices thought that women could fall for them.
Tekken 7, developed and published by Bandai Namco, is expected to be released sometime in March 2015, and will focus on one vs. one battles, not team-based.
New characters for Tekken 7 are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
