Ted, the stuffed, foul-mouthed toy bear is back: Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg are teaming up again as Ted and his best human friend John Bennett, for the sequel to the R-rated blockbuster hit “Ted,” which came out in 2012.

The first trailer for “Ted 2” was released a few hours ago, and is available for your viewing pleasure below. This is a clean release, with the R-rated preview expected to drop as the release date for the pic draws near.

Considering that the original proved that R-rated comedies can also make a killing at the box office, being the best-selling R-rated release of the kind until “21 Jump Street” came along, there’s no reason to imagine the sequel would go for a safer (and probably less funny) PG 13.

In the sequel, Ted and his new wife Tami-Lynn have decided to start a family, but since Ted is a stuffed toy animal, he can’t have babies, so he asks his best bud to help him out. However, before they can even consider pregnancy, they must prove that Ted is legally a person.

They will be getting legal counseling on this from a hot attorney played by Amanda Seyfriend, with this character coming to replace John Bennett’s love interest from the original, Lori Collins (Mila Kunis). Let’s hope they will at least explain what happened to Lori since she’s not here anymore.

Star appearances include Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. Stephen Collins from “7th Heaven” also shot a cameo, but it got scrapped when a leaked audio recording had him admitting to molesting young girls.

“Ted 2” is directed by MacFarlane off a script he co-wrote. Of course, he also voices Ted.
