Telltale Games is launching Tales from the Borderlands on a variety of platforms and the development team is now delivering an official launch trailer for the new series, which has been created in collaboration with Gearbox and offers an entirely new take on the world of Pandora and its characters.

The first chapter is called Zer0 Sum and there are four other episodes coming, each of them designed to expand the scope of storytelling associated with the franchise, with a narrative thread which is set after the events of the second Borderlands shooter.

Kevin Bruner, president and co-founder of Telltale Games, states, "Players can now experience the humor and richness of the Borderlands universe from a whole new perspective, with the story-driven gameplay Telltale is known for."

The two main characters involved in Tales from the Borderlands are Rhys, a Hyperion mid-level executive with aspirations of gaining as much power as Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a con artist from Pandora who is always looking for an angle.

At the moment, Telltale Games is putting the finishing touches on its new Game of Thrones title, which is supposed to be launched before the end of the year and will have six episodes in the first season.
