Soul Axiom, an FPS adventure game developed and published by Wales Interactive, has arrived on Steam for Linux, along with all the other supported platforms.

There are very few adventure games that can be played from an FPS perspective and Soul Axiom is one of them. It's still in the Early Access Game program, which means that it's under development. The game should be out officially out of Beta in about six months.

"Explore Soul Axiom’s rich environments and immersive story to unravel the mystery of your life, and your digital afterlife. You will be taken on an intriguing voyage of discovery, through beautiful, haunting locations, facing challenges that will lead you into danger on your mission to unlock your identity, your story, your mystery. But beware: some mysteries are better left unsolved," reads the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for the game are rather low and most users should be able to meet them. Players will need to have at least Ubuntu 12. 04 LTS (other distros will probably work as well), a 1Gz processor, 512 MB of RAM, an OpenGL 1.1 compatible video card, and 2 GB of available HDD space.

Soul Axiom is now available with a 10% discount and the promotion is scheduled to end on November 24.
