Sony has just introduced the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and Xperia C4 Dual in India and confirmed that the former would be available from today for Rs 24,990 ($390 / €360) outright.

However, the Japanese company did not share any details on Xperia C4 Dual's pricing and availability yet, though we know that it will go on sale sometime in mid-June.

Sony Xperia C4 Dual will be available in India in three color options (Black, White and Mint), a new report claims. We expect more details on price tag to emerge closer to release, so stay tuned for more on that one.

Unveiled earlier this month, the Xperia C4 Dual is a mid-range smartphone that ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

Unlike the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual that is now available in India, the Xperia C4 Dual is not waterproof. However, it does come with a scratch-resistant 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Octa-core processor from MediaTek

In order to keep the price lower, Sony opted for a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, which is complemented by a Mali-T760MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The Xperia C4 Dual packs 16GB of internal memory, which seems to be the standard for mid-range smartphones. Still, users will be able to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Another strong point of the phone would be the 13-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. In the front, there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera that can capture HD (720p) video.

As the name suggests, the device offers dual-SIM support. The only downside would be the fact that the 2600 mAh battery is non-removable, but other than that, Sony's Xperia C4 Dual seems a pretty decent mid-range Android solution.
