Sony sold Sony Online Entertainment in total secrecy just two days ago, and many gamers are now worried about the fate of the company's most important video games.

John Smedley, the president of the newly minted Daybreak Game Company, took to Twitter to assure fans that nothing changed and to express his enthusiasm toward being now able to deliver games on Microsoft's consoles.

He addressed some of the most important questions fans of the company had submitted, assuring players that all of the company's games, meaning PlanetSide 2, DC Universe Online, H1Z1 and EverQuest, were still up and running and would continue to do so under the new banner.

Second of all, he revealed that the company intended to bring its games to the Xbox One home console, in addition to the PlayStation 4, now that the studio was no longer owned by platform holder Sony, and expressed this opinion in a pretty enthusiastic tweet.

He also mentioned that Station Cash would not change in any way, and that customers making use of microtransactions should carry on as normal, because their activity would not be affected by the change, and advised that the currency would be rebranded soon.

Everquest Next is still coming

Furthermore, players who had all access subscriptions won't see any changes, as life will go on at the same pace as before the company's acquisition by the Columbus Nova investment company.

Finally, the latest point he touched upon was Everquest Next. Some gamers speculated that the game was too big of an effort and that the company didn't see the level of interest necessary to make it worthwhile, but Smedley confirmed that the game was still in the cards, chasing away all doubts.

The acquisition will translate into more resources available for the teams to expand its existing games, and to bring its creations to platforms that were previously off-limits, like the Xbox 360 and Xbox One computer entertainment systems from Sony's main console rival, Microsoft.
