Some have been previously confirmed for removal

If you are an Xbox console owner, then these things might interest you. Microsoft often removes games from its Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace and most of the time it doesn't even inform players on the titles it plans to make unavailable for download.

The pattern partially applies to the next six games that have been recently removed from XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) and are now unavailable for download.

We were already informed several weeks ago that Capcom was going to drop Marvel vs. Capcom Origins from XBLA beginning the end of the year, so there's no surprise here.

However, only a few Xbox gamers have been aware that Microsoft will remove the next five titles from XBLA. While no explanations have been given on the reasons why these game were made unavailable, it usually has something to do with their licenses expiring or changing hands.

Some may still be available on retails discs

As XBLAFans points out, Xbox console owners won't be able to download WRC Powerslide anymore, as the game has been removed from XBLA on December 30, 2014. The game was initially launched on March 8, 2013 and had a rather short life on XBLA.

Next in line, Battle: Los Angeles and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game are two movie tie-ins that are available on XBLA since March 11, 2011, and August 25, 2010, respectively. Sadly, both have been delisted from XBLA and no content related to them can be downloaded anymore.

Last but not least, UNO and UNO Rush are two classics that were available on XBLA for quite a long time. The former was released on March 9, 2006, whereas the latter made it on consoles on March 25, 2009.

For those who still feel they really need to play UNO, downloadable codes for the game might still be available in the wild, or you might want to check out the Xbox Live Arcade – Compilation Disc, which contains this game as well.
