Today's Steam daily deal is a game developed by Big Robot, called Sir, You Are Being Hunted. Released back in August 2013, the game has been received with very positive reviews by both players and media.

Do not be fooled by the rather mediocre rating on Metacritic, as Sir, You Are Being Hunted brings up some innovative ideas and the execution seems on par for the most part.

But what is Sir, You Are Being Hunted? Well, this is a procedurally-generated horror game in which, as the name suggests, you are hunted by robots for sport.

Players will have to survive in a dark environment by scavenging for food, hiding in the undergrowth or flee in terror when discovered. Assuming you can steal some of the weapons that the robots are using to hunt you down, or you find any, then you will have something to retaliate with.

The deal is only available for the next 48 hours

The game features five biomes that you can explore: castle, industrial, rural, mountainous and fenland. Be warned though, the AI will become tougher and tougher as you continue to play.

In fact, according to developers, Sir, You Are Being Hunted has one of the toughest in-game stealth systems and players will be hunted by “some of the most aggressive and intelligent game enemies” they have ever experienced.

As for the setting, Sir, You Are Being Hunted takes place in a parallel Britain, which means you'll explore bleak villages, rocky highlands, decrepit farms, and near crumbled post-industrial landscapes.

Your main objective is simple to understand, but hard to achieve: survival. Thankfully, you will not be alone in this, as the disembodied voice of your butler (Walter) will help you along the way by offering you some advice.

If you haven't yet added the game to your games library, now would be a good time to fix it, as Sir, You Are Being Hunted is only €3.99 ($3.99) on Steam.
